 Stair Chair Lift

Now I'm seen it all! My Cousin in Toledo Oh. Took a Garage Door opener and made a seat to fit the chain drive and uses it for a chair lift on his Stairway. Just thought I would pass that on as he saved quite a bit of money.

 Stair Chair Lift

That remeinds me of my Fatherinlaw who was quite handicaped. he installed a garage door opener drive track about head high above the basement steps with a hook on it. When he had something to take up or down the stairs he either put it in a bucket or hung the item itsself on the opener chain hook, pushed the botton and "presto gaztts" there it went. And if I remember correctly someone gave him the opener. I've allways admired folks like your Cousin and the Dad inlaw who could make something out of nothing. Merry Christmas. Frank.
