 BOB CAT EQUIPMENT

Rumor has it BOB CAT has ben purchased by a S. Korean Co. Say good by to the Kubota engines. The same engines in Kioti tractors will go into BOB CAT units. Kubota will soon be working on a Skid steer! Bout Time!!

I bet they keep the engine. A deal that big doesnt happen with out looking into the possible consequences like losing your engine manufacturer. Bobcat would lose too many costomers if they lost the engine. But, I might have a source on this who would know the dirt.

Local Kubota salesman told me he understood the engines would be out and allowing Kubota to compete in that market more freely. Probably there is a long term contract between Bobcat and Kubota but all contracts have a termination date and it could be soon. kt

Just wondered, who does Doosan (think that is correct spelling) use in their machines that size now? Could they even supply the need?

 BOB CAT EQUIPMENT

Is it Doosan or Daewoo? Daewoo is huge company that makes electronics too and is very reputable--like any other Asian company that sells here in the US and abroad.
