7 pin Plug on your tractor

I was looking at the specs for the MF 461. I comes with a 7 pin plug to hook up your trailer. It does not mention the electric brakes.
This is the first time I have seen a tractor with a trailer plug are there any other tractors so equiped? Is this standard on the larger tractors? Any with the electric brakes modulator?

All of our newer (larger) tractors both in the construction bus. and at the farm have this feature.

Some have other nifty little 'automotive' style features too.

Some of our units have air over hydraulic ABS brakes on all 4 wheels, air brake circuit for trailers, self-levelling rear suspension as well as side to side levelling, two full-size seats in the cab, under-slung fuel tanks that have filler necks about the height of a pickup, and road gears which allow them to travel at speeds of up to 35mph.

The manufacturers are starting to realize the importance of ergonomics and operator comfort, thankfully.

In many parts of the world tractors see as much use on road as off.

In large areas of northern Europe for example, almost all snow removal and road maintenance duties are done by tractors.

Best of luck.

That's nice to hear that at least one manufacturer is making provisions for a trailer hookup. I did it myself by tapping into the taillight wires. I didn't bother with wiring for the electric brakes, though. I just wanted to have lights and flashers for when I take the utility trailer down the road. Even if you wanted to control the brakes, I doubt if brake controlers are weather proof. They're made to be inside the vehicle.

Case did have the 7 pin outlet on their smallest full size farm tractor about 8 years ago. Have no idea on electric brakes. Have no idea if they still do. My Kubotas (newer than that, larger and smaller than the Case) did not come with any trailer connection.

JD sells an optional 7-pin trailer plug and harness kit for some (all?) of their compacts. I've got one on my 4310.
