How to Prepare and Serve Spam

Okay lets treat Spam proper one time. What is your favorite way to eat Spam? I like to slice and then pan fry it. Then use on sandwich with fresh tomato.

How to Prepare and Serve Spam

Actually, I like Spam a lot.

My favourite was a dish I learned as a kid, cubed Spam, 'taters, sweet 'taters, onions, carrots, mustard seed, celery seed, butter and brown sugar all wrapped up in a couple of layers of tinfoil and cooked 45 minutes to an hour over a grill or campfire.

Dang it all, now my mouth is watering!!

Time to head to the low country for some BBQ.

Look out Kenny, the missus & I are loading up the motorhome!!! Wink yeah right

Best of luck.

2. fried Spam and cheese samich.
3. Fried spam, egg and cheese muffin.

Murf, if you travel on I-95 have a BBQ place recommend very heavy. It is on Hwy 38 in SC just a few miles south of the SC/NC border. The only times certain they are open is Friday and Saturday from about 4:30 to about 9:00 PM, maybe Thursday same time but that is it. They are almost totally dry rub with cooking over wood. Strong flavor but very good. Name is "Shulers". They on the east of I-95 as going to Myrtle Beach about two miles from I-95.

Now if you are coming this way and are going to stop there you let me know and I will make the drive and buy your meal (you and Mrs. Murf).

Something I like about real people, we can and do enjoy such simple things to such great levels. Anyone BBQ or smoke Spam?

How to Prepare and Serve Spam

WOW funny how old threads come up. It was 2 weeks after my post I'm in the coronary unit.

I miss Spam and lots of other good stuff. But like Greg said in other thread once in a while.

Of course it wasn't just Spam I'm sure.
