Who likes blue cheese Survey
I don't get how mass market fast food chains like Wendy's and Burger King think everyone wants blue cheese on their salads. I can't stand the smell of vomit on my food and the taste is a match.
I must be a minority on this because these outfits have marketing research that tells them how to make money.
Do you love blue cheese?

It's not my favorite but it's OK. Good blue cheese is better than the stuff they serve as most salad dressing. I eat a lot of salads at Wendy's and usually get whatever is low fat.

From what I know Blue cheese is high in calories and fat, with just a single ounce of cheese containing 100 calories, or 5 percent of your daily intake in a 2,000-calorie diet. Each serving of blue cheese also contains 8.2 grams of fat, of which 5.3 grams is saturated fat. Lets just say that I can see why fast food chains are serving up more unhealthy food to go along with the fries and cheese burgers. Only positive of blue cheese is it keeps heart surgeons busy
Oh yeah I don't care for the taste or the smell of it either IMHO

I guess I'm definitely in the minority in this crowd!
I love blue cheese! As for fat or calories, the taste is so strong that you don't need anywhere near as much of it as you would with milder cheeses.
One of my favourites is boneless skinless chicken breast with a little pocket slit into it and then grilled. Yum!
Best of luck.

I do agree with Murf a little goes a long way. But more agree with I do NOT like it.
Dennis not sure have the quote correct but it goes like this:
there are lies
government lies (have heard them called D lies)
then statistics
Marketing people use statistics. A lot depends in how the questions are asked or even what is asked. Very seriously in my family I notice blue cheese was more popular in the older age group than any other age group. I mean ever older than mine. My children and in laws in their 30's and younger are big Ranch dressing eaters. Based upon something I read years ago as we age our taste buds like more bitter tastes than when younger. I believe that based upon the people who eat vegetables.

I guess that is why I find the John Steinbeck's phrase "full of piss and vinegar" becoming more appropriate for me

I love blue cheese. Unfortunately I don't each much cheese right now with my new diet. I eat whatever I want through breakfast and lunch, but only vegetables and fruits for dinner. Have dropped 25 lbs so far.
KT - I love the "lie with statistics" stuff. I am a retired PhD level statistician. As I neared the end of my career I concluded that I could be used to support any point of view. It is very dangerous stuff.
