Hi Art,
I am starting to get the hang of using the box blade. See Pics 18 and 19. I am concerned I may be a little under powered though. Please see pic 7 and see if you have any idea as to what might be causing this.

Len.

I just looked at pic #7 and I am not quite sure if you are
serious or not. That tractor is just not heavy enough to
do much with a box blade that large. Again, I am not sure
if this is a joke between you and Art or what, but I do
know unless you are working in 'feathers' - that setup
isnt going to do alot(unless you want to work one inch
at a time).

Such a horse! Probably now you might see where the option of a top link cylinder to replace your manually adjustable link is and a hydralic drop link replacing the manual one would make the job easier. That system is what they call a top and tilt and for a contractor that has a lot of this type of work they are well worth the investment. They also are a great attachment for a power rake which also windrows rocks and are the most efficient in time management for getting many landscaping jobs done. I don't see a lot of stone laying on top so maybe a york rake would work for final clean up. Looks like you are getting the hang of it and I think I might see a couple of terreces coming in the future.

Art,
See pic 8. I figured out my lack of power problem. I needed to apply more elbow grease to the BH pins.
A neighbor story...After just completing a grading session I am admiring my work. My 79 year old putts up on a horseless carriage he has just made in his garage. He gets kinda serious. He says he has something to tell me and asks me to sit down.
He says, "I been watching you grade over there for 2 months now. I tell you what I gonna do. I going to get a dozen chickens and put some feed over there. With all that scratching they'll work faster than you do." Wink yeah right
Try to enjoy what's left of the summer talk to you soon.

Len.

Ask him where he goes to find those chickens! It does look like you are having fun and that is what it's all about. If you had it all done in a day you would not have had the fun!
