Sell them or keep em
Now that I have the Kubota BX1500 and don't need the 2 Bolens 850 Tractors I'm trying to decide what to do with them.
What would I do with them if I were you?

Reread your post, it seemed pretty clear to me what your message was. Sorry if you had no intent of a For sale ad, but that's sure what came across to me big time. Frank.

Franky have you doubled up on your "cranky pills"?
LB, I had the same question awhile back (yours not Franky's)
Here are my thoughts since I don't have a pole barn yet but have a commercial yard that I nned to service my equipment in. I have my tools in an enclosed car hauler.
All ideas deal with removing the mower.
1. Make a roll cage for the mower and truning it into a sort of go-cart. The nieces already have a real go-cart. Widening the the rear axle may be in order to make it more stable.
2. Make a trailer toter out of it. Need a way of raing and lower the trailer tongue.
3. Same idea as No.1 but use ATV tires for a lilltle offroading ability.
4. This is what I really need: Turn it into a self-powered fully equipped "work bench" complete with welder/generator which I've got.
5. I saw on Farmshow.com a guy that lengthened the front frame just past the engine carrying the front axle out about 8' and turned it into a self-propelled firewood carrier-and-rack.
Good luck!
And Frank lay off them cranky pills will ya? Now go eat some more ham 'cause I knows you don't like turkey for Thanksgiving--'member?

Ew; You read me like a book, they may ask me to surrender my flag for not likeing turkey, but in real crude language, I can't stand the stuff. Cranky this morning? Yes a bit, likely from OD'ing on ham and pumpkin pie, is there a morning after adult beverage that will cure this? Rather than you ending up getting arrested for creating some sort of Dr. Kovorkian type sucicide machine,I can give you the name of a fellow who will fix you up with a brand new shiny Gator that will be the pride of your fleet. Enjoy all that leftover turkey for me. frank.

lbrown...it will be better to sell them NOW than to sit them to the side and two years from now doing so. I believe you will do one or the other. kt
