New addition for my new Tractor

Looks great! I am renovating a barn to be used for my wife's horses. In the aisle (12x36) and storage area (10x36) I am debating pouring a floor or using stone dust and compacting it -- rubber mats will cover everything either way. I noticed you poured your own floor -- almost 20 years ago I was "boy help" on a construction site where we poured a cellar and garage floor. I remember it being pretty straightforward; is my memory correct? If memory serves me correctly, we made a form, poured the concrete, and leveled it out. My memory gets a little fuzzy at this point, but I remember using a big "fan-like" thing on the floor once it started to cure. I don't remember removing the forms, but I'm sure we did.

Any pointers as to what to do would be greatly appreciated!

Yes! you remember correctly, but what you probably don't remember is TIMING is everything when working with cement!
I pourd 6&1/2 yds. in this project and it about whiped my butt!! I had a little 130# woman helping me and it was about all we could do to pour it, screed it and then power trowel (fan blade thingy) it!!! I barely got it finished in time and was still able to broom the aprons!!
Dean (will gladly help you in any way I can)

Ok Gang, yesterday after the roof deal I just had to slow down, so G/F wanted to landscape the front and my little Backhoe just had to help with his own house!!
