1 99 Gas thing from Dodge

If you had bought a Dodge when they were offering the 1.99 gas for three years did you give up a rebate or sometning in leu of the 1.99 gas thing? Now what, are you locked into paying 1.99 for your gas or can you just buy gas at whatever it is under the 1.99 thing and tell Dodge to take a hike?

GOOD CALL FRANKY!

I usually remember things like that but this one slipped by.

I basically put it out of my radar because I use only diesel, which I'm told the offer didn't apply to.

I gave it a nonserious look when they were pushing that program and it seems you gave up a rebate or sometning to get the gas thing. OK, now that Dodge isn't having to help with your gas bill are they going to refund the difference between say 1.75 gas and their 1.99 deal being you gave up a rebate??? I'd tnink Dodge would cheerfully send you a check to keep you in the fold, Call your dealer, I'm sure he would love to discuss the matter.

I have to think the group that brainstormed that rebate program breathed a heavy sigh of relief when prices fell.

Don't expect Chrysler to do much to satisfy the customer these days, some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with (next to the government).

They need Lee back to straighten that issue back out.

If I understand the news report on who the top dog there is, he left Home Depot in a mess so they say but with millions. It seems if you screw up really big, you profit, but if just a little you get punished.

No doubt KT. Heard that Daimler sucked the life out of them too.

Early in my professional career I observed many a mangler...er...manager that would screw up big-time and get promoted. So I would say to my collegues who nearly got fired, "Go ahead and f--- up one more tme and we'll make you a manager". Always got a laugh. Then I noticed that if you screwed up and got promoted you got a front office with a window. But---if your office got too close to the front door--figurative and literally--you were OUT the door. So there is a silver-lining!
