Bad River Tractor Tool Rack
So Yooperpete, when is your tractor tool rack coming out?
Any pics?
I'm still looking for a good solution for tools on the trail.

Ken:
We're having the usual start-up problems. I have a limited inventory and am working on better packaging, safety and warning labels for my product liability insurance carrier and the website hasn't been updated yet.
We launched another inventory build and am fine tuning the rest of the stuff.
I tried adding some photos to my TP photo list and managed to wipe out all of them or rather they are beaming around in my computer somewhere!
The tool rack frame attaches to the rigid drawbar with a pinch plate and has some stabilizer bars toward the top. They are adjustable and angle downward to mount in the top link bulkhead by using a longer top link pin. Two vertical tubes, upgradable to four allow storage for long handled rakes, garden hoes, shovels, forks. A horizontal system can hold either a D handled shovel, ax or string trimmer.
The entire framework fits between the lift arms and its open center architecture allows a PTO shaft to fit through it. You can then use practically any implement in conjunction with it.
I haven't figured out how to attach a picture in a message, so I'll send you some info. Thanks for Asking!!

That sounds pretty useful. Would it be possible to mount a chainsaw and a gallon or two of fuel on it?

No, it currently isn't made to handle a saw & gas, however, if you look at my Bad River site, you will see that we show a cargo carrier inserted into a hitch adapter carrying a chain saw, gas, oil and shelled corn.
Are you planning to use the 3 point for other implements while carrying a saw? I have extra holes in the frame for adding some more stuff like a box.

What I'd like to do is use the Bad River hitch I already have to tow around my big chipper and use a tool rack to carry a timber jack, chainsaw and 2-cycle mix. Now I put the chainsaw and fuel on the floorboard but it's not very convenient to have them rolling around. I sometimes put 'em in the bucket but I use that a lot for carrying firewood while I'm out cutting.

Yeah, well, the perfect tool rack would support three chainsaws. The little and big one and the one on a pole.

Ken, you forgot the area to hold the pain medicine!
Your solution is simple...on your wife's tractor you mount the second rack and there you go. You now have all the saws and a supervisor or helper or both. You'll have to tell us which.

The pain meds store nicely in the tiny "tool box" built into the left fender. That's about all that fits in there.
Maybe my wife would follow me around carrying all the equipment? I'm sure she could handle a cooler too.

Ken, we use a rack that has a narrow slit in it and clamps to the one of the arms of the FEL. The saw blade goes down into it like a holster and is secured there by a rubber bungee cord. It will hold up to 3 saws. On the other side is a rack almost exactly like what landscapers use to mount gas cans on the side of their trailers, it holds a gas can and bar oil.
It is something easily made up yourself.
Best of luck.
