Thanks for the information the machine sold to someone else for $2700.00. Do you know of any equipment auctions where you could possibly get a decent machine at a reasonable price. I am in the market for a Gator type vehicle preferably diesel power and 1000 lb hydraulic bed. I live in Tennessee and could travel a short distance if it would be worth it.

I'd find some dealers in your area that sell like units or maybe higher end units like the Kubota as we at times have had to refuse those as trade-ins as we were sitting on too many and had to move them out. When you see that happening in a dealers yard it's a good time to start dickering. Auctions often get more people into the buying frenzy and crazy prices. It must have been a good looking 622 with good options to have drawn that money.

Art, as always I appreciate your advice and will give it a try. I just hate to pay an inflated price for something that has lost some of its value. I want to give a used one a try before I dive off into a big investment. I only have 3.25 acres, with 1/2 acre pond and would not need a whole lot of machine. I recently bought a used 1988 743 Bobcat to go along with my bought new 2003 Kubota B7500 "FEL, 60" Landpride, and Box Blade" that you advised me to purchase a couple of years ago. The Bobcat and Kubota have turned into great investments and have had a major impact on my property. I would have never been able to afford a new Bobcat skidsteer and hope to do the same type thing when buying a utility vehicle. I plan to upgrade to the TP.com premium membership in a few days and will post some pictures of what we have done with them. Again Thanks!!

You might look at some of the units built by some of the other companies Like Cadet builds a good six wheeler with rear suspension and is Honda powered but I wonder if the need is really that great for the six wheeler and maybe just a solid four wheeler dump design would work as many of them will easily carry 1000 lbs and they work great.

You might be right about the 6 wheeler vs. 4 but I do want a 4X4 with dump bed. Aby recommendations outside of the Kubota, Kawasaki, and Polaris?

I realize you last posted a while back, but have you tried using John Deere Machine Finder on their site? Before we purchased one three years ago I was surpised at all the used ones there.
