John Deere Gator Blown Ignition Fuse
I have a 2005 Gator HPX 4x4 with about 400 hours on it. I am having problems with the 15 amp ignition fuse blowing. I have checkd the wiring harness thoroughly and cannot find any bare spots where it may be shorting out. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It is very intermittent. It hasn't done it for two months and Saturday it blew 2 fuses in less than 5 minutes. Ok, thanks

That fuse is connected to almost everything on the Gator. From the 4x4 switch to the ignition module. It pulls the relay for the 4x4 plus supplies the power to engage. If you could isolate what you were doing when it blew, would help. Very hard to tell.

Thanks for your reply Gatoraider. I wish I could tell you it was any one thing...........but it's not. It has done it in a turn, while accelerating, while braking, lights on, lights off, any number of scenarios, but not one thing I can pinpoint and say "that was the cause" I guess I will have to isolate one thing at a time and hope for the best.
I'll let you know if I find anything.

I have the same issue, what I've found is that it only blows the fuse in the high range, if I keep it in reverse or low range it dosn't blow, I'm thinking tranmission module.
