  john deere gator cx wont go forward or in reverse

Wont go in forward or in reverse, but when I push the brake half way to the floor & give it gas it takes off, Any Ideas ?

  john deere gator cx wont go forward or in reverse

My idea is you have the shifter tangled up with the brake rods. You have to look under the cover that goes under the seats. When you get all that exposed and try it, you will probably be able to see what's wrong.

Thx,checked that, nothing tangled or jammed, I can push on the gas and the brake at the same time and it takes off, let off the brake its like being in neutral I can see the brake cables going to the rear end housing, both working fine, throttle cable working fine, the only thing I can think of is something loose in the rear end, still at a loss, any more ideas ?
