4 X 2 primary clutch
Can someone tell me who makes the 4 X 2 clutch for JD. I need to find one for less than 350 from my local dealer. I understand the same clutch is used in snowmobile applications?
Thanks
Tim

Comet was bought by CPC in Janesville,WI last year. I think they intend to keep manufacturing the torque converters. CPC owns Tecumseh also.

replacement for the Comet 780
no, Comet is NOT in production at this time....this website will help you decide which clutch is for your application
cvtech 06 is probably the one you want but do your research!

4 X 2 primary clutch
Tim,
I have one I will let go. Had it on my 6x4 for about a week. Worked fine, but being a smaller diameter, I didn't have the low gear I need.
