  amt 600 engine problems

i have a stock amt 600 that has been sitting for quite some time before it was given to me. the former owner said the fuel pump was bad , so they parked. after replacing the fuel pump the motor started right up, but after running it for a few moments oil was coming out of the fuel pump breather. i have since replaced the fuel pump with one off my golf cart and it does the same thing, leaking oil. what i am looking for is the manual for this motor, kawasaki kf 82, and if anyone has a clue as to what could be the cause of this oil coming through the vacuum line to the fuel pump. i hate to just tear into the motor without some clue of what parts i might need and what could be wrong, as the motor runs extremely strong, and even with oil coming from the fuel pump, it idles like new. any ideas?

does no one have any possible idea as to what could be wrong, or at least what i need to check before i tear the motor off the frame and tear into it?

If you are getting oil in a vaccuum port, it's almost gotta be blow-by. Weak rings and/or worn cylinders. There are no oversize pistons for that motor and there are very few other parts available for it. Try plugging that port and running an electric fuel pump.
