I have a CX and even this little Gator seems to do well plowing. Just diff lock on and wheel weights in the back and no chains. I've spent the last few years plowing my neighbors drives in NE Illinois just for fun. Even if the snow is so deep that it over flows the plow top under speed it just means the first pass you raise the plow up a few inches and re-do. Far exceeded my expectations.

Here's a pick

Do you have the JD blade, or something else? If else, do you mind sharing? Sorry, I haven't seen the actual JD blade.

That's the JD blade and electric lift plus the recommended heavy duty front shocks. It's a well built kit with what looks like adjustable bronze blade skids on each side. Still I easily had enough force to bend a skid mount on an un-foreseen object last winter. Blade angle is manual. The blade connect to the lift is super fast with just a couple of bolt clips on a triangular mount so I leave the lift on all year and substitute a winch for the blade.
