John Deere Gator Will Not Start
Try putting a little oil in the ports Put spark plugs back in and see if it starts If it does it may not have enough Compression to Fire If it starts when its cold you would have a little more compression.

John Deere Gator Will Not Start
Well you just made my day. I just bought a brand new coil but haven't tried it yet. Not looking good for me. Pulled the head off and all looked good. Valves looked good.I did a wet test with some contact cleaner and they didn't leak. Will put it all back together with new coil and let you know what happens.

I guess the good news is that it worked. I am in Knoxville right now but as soon as I get home I will try my newly bought coil and let you know what happens. Thanks for the good news.

New coil and new throttle cable solved the problem. It now runs.
Will not run slow as it bucks. Feels like it is turning on and off. As you press the throttle down thing seem to smooth out and it runs fine.
When you stop it will backfire. (Something new)
Coil didn't have an adjustment but might be the new throttle cable.
Runs pretty bad when trying to go slow.
