Water in oil
My 98 gator 6x4 has water in oil dipstick level high no power won't idle hear pressure leaking when motor shut off at rear cylinder. Is it head gasket or water pump gasket has 750 hours. ? Thanks

Could be either. I wouldn't think not idling and no power would have anything to do with the water pump. Maybe drain it and start over. Try running it on one cylinder at a time and see if you can isolate the problem. Take the other plug out and isolate the plug wire when you do it. You could take a compression check, but a lot of times a blown head gasket won't show up.

Good morning thank you for the reply so fast I've checked both cylinders both have good spark I will do compression check and also pressureize radiator to try to find pressure leak either at head gasket or top of water pump gasket. I know my gator is tired just trying to get throu the winter. I need every day for cleaning horse stalls
How about some Bares leak head gasket sealer for temp fix ?

I suspect you have a bad head gasket. You might look at the plugs and be able to determine if one cylinder is being sprayed with water. Should have a real clean looking plug.
Just what I would do. I really don't suspect the water pump but it is a possability

If you're leaking through a head gasket you should see water vapor in your exhaust, unless it's leaking directly into the sump, which would explain the high dipstick level. It's a long shot, but try retorquing your head bolts. I probably don't have to tell you that changing head gaskets is waaay easier than WP gaskets on these things so let's hope it's the former.

Headgasket leaks are pretty common on those engines. Have you seen any signs of overheating? Usually when the headgasket goes bad you will get combustion gases into the cooling system along with some of the symptoms mentioned above. I would suggest that you fill and purge cooling system and start it up with the filler cap off. If it blows a lot of coolant out of the filler neck before the engine is properly warm, along with bubbles, it probably is a bad headgasket. They are pretty easy to change. Another way to identify a bad gasket is to get one cylinder at exactly TDC and apply air pressure through the spark plug hole. If bubbles come out of the cooling system, then you know which cylinder/s are affected. I bought a Mule that the previous owner had put a new water pump on. It continued to overheat because of a bad head gasket. I changed both gaskets and put about 1500 more hours on it without any issues. I "resurfaced" the heads by putting sheet of sandpaper on a really flat, smooth surface, and sanding the heads against it using an orbital motion. The sanding marks will tell you if there is a real problem with flatness. I don't remember if the water pump seal is between the coolant and the crankcase, but if so, you may be on the right track there.

Hello again. I think I have ruled out the head gasket both plugs look normal ( little carbon on them exhaust has no steam and pipe is dry found some leakage I believe at top of water pump gasket behind the clutch any ideas
Maybe bars leak copper sealer in rad. For quick fix to buy me some time ?
High oil level on stick
Can't figure out why won't idle with out turning screw up but revs to to put in gear
Carb is clean just cleaned few months ago
Ran fine till noticed leak and smell anti freeze. Thanks again

I am not a fan of Bars-Leaks, it can plug radiators and small passages. It might fix a small radiator leak, but that's about it. The water pump on the Kawi V-twin engine is driven off the camshaft. On many smaller water-cooled engines this is common. There is a seal between the water pump and the cam drive. If this seal fails, radiator fluid will get into the crankcase. On my motorcycle, there is an air gap between the pump and the crankcase, with a weep hole, so coolant will not get into the oil. I will verify how the Kawi is set up as I have two of them lying around. Look at procedure for changing water pump. It's a bit of a pain, but not that bad.
