Been that long, since my last and first message on tractor point I think. Regular email informs me you posted a message, think I had forgotten about this site. Anyway, i have run the 5370 only about twice a year, the last two. It still starts first try, even in the dead of winter, idles the same, will even do the work...for awhile. I think when that clutch bearing gets heated up after a bit, it sticks and that is very dangerous. I greased it, around the same time I posted the initial problem here, and it lasted for three uses or so, that summer. But I think the bearing needs replaced and it is a lot of money, I have more important things to spend it on right now. Perhaps you are an experienced tractor operator, and therefore I have no business telling you anything, but I really wasn't experienced, familiar but not experienced, so If I may, I would only suggest "not riding the clutch", All other things being equal, this tractor, only 10 years old at that point, should not be relegated to the yard, too dangerous to operate. I am thinking it needs to be split to fix this problem.I have a ten year old truck, a five year old car, and a 13 year old SeaDoo as well. Earn good money but it is not enough to spread around.
Prince Edward County ? that is around the Picton, Quinte Peninsula area?

I have 3 belarus. a 250, 500 loader tractor and this new one the 5370. I just brought it home, drove it 79km and it didn't blow up so I think it will be fine. Just doing the service on it that wasn't done, it has 1700 hrs on it. It will pull a no-till drill. I tried it on the no-till drill this week and it worked fine, put in winter wheat with it. Just wondering if you found any problem items with yours. The clutch will get the grease. How about your 4wd automatic clutch halfway down the driveshaft towards the front wheels. Mine leaks and it looks like it needs a seal. Does yours hold oil?
I am about 10km north of Picton. Plant soyeans and wheat.
