Hello;

Just buying a property in Vermont that is going to need lots of ongoing maintenance to the 5 acres of mostly hilly woodland and 5 acres of gardens, 1930's lodges, bridges, driveways, firewood harvesting and prep, parking areas, wall building, barn raising, trail keeping etc...

I'm looking at a 2007 NH TC30 and a 2004 Kioti LK3054 (w KL1230 loader). both are listed at $14K. Nearest dealer for either is going to be 40+ miles away. Both have loader and backhoe on subframe, but the Kioti also has a split-fire 230 wood splitter, a Meyers snow blade and a homemade concrete counterweight.

Both are about a 5 hour drive from my home so I don't want to waste any trips.

Any thoughts on which of these is the better choice? the BH is firm at $14K and the Kioti with all the implements is $14K OBO.

you leave a lot out, but, for me I would take the Kioti.
I has the capability of having a front mount snow blower, it has more equipment with it that you are in need of, it is heavier and has near equal horsepower. and greater hydraulic flow if you want to add other attachments. I read a review of the TC30 breaking in half, but you have no idea of the conditions it was subjected too, and I have read nothing like that on the Kioti's. You will like the greater weight once you have to start digging or ripping land.
Part of my decision is assuming both are 4 wheel drive and only the Kioti has the front PTO which is not listed as an option, also the Kioti has the greater lift capacity. Lastly, I hate a live PTO, I much prefer one I can shift out or shut off when not in use.

Sorry for the lack of better info but here is what I have.

The Kioti tractor setup is 2004 Tractor (660 hours) LK3054XS, Bucket KL1230, Hoe KB2375. it comes with the split-fire 230 log splitter a homemade Meyers plow blade attachment and a homemade counter weight 3-point combination. The asking is $14K OBO.

The New Holland is a TC30 2007 tractor with 300 hours. the seller hasn't shared the setup other than it is a Tractor, bucket and backhoe combination. No other implements in the deal and it is $14K firm.

Newbie here so if you can tell me what I'm missing I'll find it.
