Mark, it's not illegal, technically, as long as we stick to official Cannuck surplus mortar rounds only....

And they have a bunch they need to use up before spring comes and they melt anyways. ;->

Thanks Murf, I've already stolen this line and used it on a friend.

Bringing this back to the original post. If my membership was stripped my wife would be calling divine retribution and dancing around the table. Sort of like the old days when the ice fishing trip to Algonquin was cancelled.

I have also had a couple of post disappear into the ether. I was not absolutely positive I had sent them so I ignored the problem.

Willie,

I use a laptop which is normally on high speed. I will take it home sometimes and it is then on dial up with same ISP. I have had messages sent from there that did not post and on my end it looked fine. Have no idea if such is happening to you or others but I had that to happened at least on two different weekends before I realized when it was happening.

kt -
Yea, I have the laptop as well, even with older software on it, and, a different isp all together from that of my pc at my home. Both registered the same way (unfortunately) at the time, as I tried to see what it was that had happened.

I know now that it was not from my end, and all has been rectified. It could have very well have been ISP issues or PC issues, Lord knows these babies never miss a beat (sic), right? I have had late acknowledgements and postings before as well, but this was a wee bit more involved.

Anyway, I appreciate the possibilities.

I think I am going to go and sit around the wood stove for a while with a good book about....."non-metallic, cryogenically-altered Hydrogen Oxygen alloy stealth rounds" for a bit! Laughing out loud

- Willie H
