BX2200 4 sale - listed on TP classifieds but with trouble
Hi folks, I have a BX2200 for sale. I don't want to advertise this on this fourm and have listed it on the TP classifieds, but I can not seem to delete it, or change it. Are the classifieds working correctly or is it me?

It's you--- 
Go to Classifieds, then look under the line that says Ads placed last 120 days.
Just below there are two lnks: Add an Ad Delete and Ad
The link uses your e-mail to indentify your ads you placed.

Yep. I got that far. Put in my email. Put in the ad number.
(Note: did not put anything in 'classified ad password') The page returns and says 'Your ad=2611 was Deleted from our Listings'.
But, it is still there.........
Anything further help?

Did you refresh the page?
Also, try logging off, in again and do a search in the classifieds for your item.
I'm a premium member and I don't log in/out--I guess it recognizes me, so I don't type in anything to find my ads; I just click on ad a classified or delete one.

Scott; I had the same problem. It seemed it just wanted to run for the allotted time. I can still read your add so it is still up.

I still don't know how to get it to delete.
It may be something with 'classified ad password field' which I leave blank + a bug in software logic resulting in a false message indicating it is gone.
Support - any help ?

The delete ad page had, up to today, two options. Your ad was placed this year but you used the option for ads placed before 2003.
I know, why is that still there for ads before 2003? ;--)
I just took that option out.
You just need to be logged in as the user who placed the ad, then click on delete ad on the classifed ad page and it will take you to a page that lists all ads placed by the logged in member with a "View | Delete " link next to each ad.
Hope this clears up the confusion.
