In an effort to make those little tractors next to your member name more realistic and to stem the tide of members who change there member names to get fewer tractors, the following changes have been made.

When you mouse over the tractors instead of saying 5 tractors is an expert, now 5 tractors says you post frequently, with no indication of how much you know.

Crunch, hope you can go back to Ncrunch again Wink yeah right

Is that good enough, or would you like to see the tractors gone, and just display your message count?

Dennis

Using the "all-men-are-created-equal" credo, I feel there is really no need for both the posting numbers and the mini tractors. Outsiders/newbies may see it as race or a game by posting or keeping track of such.

For my two cents, it would be fine with me to have neither. Especially with the designs (forgot what they are called) feature you added about a month ago.

I agree, the tractors may have out-lived their usefullness.

Maybe something like "Member since...." would be of interest, the number of posts is already on each members profile.... 4,000+ posts, geez, I type too much!!! Wink yeah right

Except the cursor seems to bring up the same " 5 tractors..." message for everybody, regardless of how many tractors they have.

Hey Dennis, is it much work to make it bring up maybe the number of posts when you put the cursor over the members name?

Best of luck.

Even the number of posts may not account for the quality. I certainly can not attest to the quality of postings. All I can say is I am usually sober when I post.

The key there is "USUALLY".

I like Murf's "member since" idea.
