Tractorpoint Membership Drive
Let's make November New Member Month:
1)Tell a friend.
2)Put a link to Tractorpoint on other sites that enhances the other sites content by linking to relevant content on Tractorpoint.
3)Should we have a reward for most the Member that grows the membership the most? Ideas?

Tell you what- you got one right here. I'm switching to premium. The advice has been well worth the price.

We need more visitors to Tractorpoint, one of the best ways to do that is with links to Tractorpoint from other sites.
Another approach is to email message threads to friends. Do you think you would use that feature if I added that as a button on the messages?

Dennis, not sure on emailing a thread to a friend but possibly a promo thread might be good. Is it just TP or BP and MP also?
Recently I was doing some research for mini excavator and failed to find a better site for info than TP and got some needed info here as usual. Yet there are very few options here on topics for posting such. This is a product line that is getting to NEW OWNERS probably mostly in the used market but raising a lot of questions.
How about offering companies who make products in this market a chance to do a ONE TIME FREE posting of their product with opportunity for questions to be asked of them? I came across a Canadian company which makes thumbs for Kubota TLB I thought very neat in design but did not feel it proper to post their info nor had anyone asked a question that pretained to it. I would even like an annual product review of sorts as Murf has once or twice tried to do in sharing info on either a design or his own or such. kt
If you are looking for another "P" how about "KP". My wife would like to learn more Kitchen Kooking Ideas. She really does not need any more, she already has me shaped like a barrell.

Dennis:
As I get an inquiry from a potential customer that has found my company through a search engine, it is difficult for me to suggest that they view the TP site. My arch rival and nemesis also advertises on your site.
Only after the sale and in my packing slips do I mention the TP site as a forum for tractor enthusiasts. I have no way of knowing if they view or join thereafter.
So I see it as a 2 edged sword. I don't advertise on the Taliban site. Oops! Did I really say that. You may need to moderate that statement.

Yooper,
I agree the way you are handling that is correct.
The types of links I am referring to is more like when you are on Garden Web, epinions, or yahoo groups or some such site. These sites don't cover the areas that TP does nor do they have as many expert advisors. Putting a link to Tractorpoint can be of benefit to person requesting advice and may yield a new TP member. These are good target sites for links as they have high visitor volumes.
Do you guys know how to embed a html link to Tractorpoint?
