A search engine. Probably Infoseek or excite. I really enjoy the discussions.

Found it while searching for Kioti tractors on Excite. Great board, btw, but "jplan" is a bit of an obscure domain name and almost made me miss it.

It was a search engine more than a year ago which I dont remember but I think it was YAHOO. I searched for "tractor+forum" and got too many replies but this one has been bookmarked in netsacpe.
I have also often wondered why jplan was selected as a name for a web site for compact tractors. Same as Toddh.

Hey Dennis, I meet Boomer 29D on the "Ford Compact Tractor" Club and he told me about your CTB. Looks like a great place to receive & share information. Keep up the great work.

Survey How Did You Find the CTB

It was so long ago (last September or October) that I am in the same position as others. Some search engine, but don't remember which one, nor for what string I was searching on.

Survey How Did You Find the CTB

About a year or more ago I needed a new lawn tractor so I started surfing for the usual Cub, JD, found a site for them through Dogpile.com(multi-search). After reading that site decided I was tired of lawn mower engines and that every manufacturer had his on implements and none were interchangeable I linked off that site to this site and have been a steady reader since. The information I found on this site helped me choose a Massey Ferguson 1225, 5' rear finish mower, 5' blade, and a 50" tiller. Sure it is a lot of tractor for 1.5 acres but in winter I plow the retired neighbors drives up and down the street, in the summer play with the mower and blade. This tractor will last my lifetime.

From Alta Vista, starting typing anything from tractors, Implements to Farming. Quite a few links popped up, pointing to the CTB. Been here ever since..
