With all of the new font, smilie, link and inline picture features it sure would be nice to have a feature that allows a poster to preview how a message would look and allow them to make corrections before posting publicly.

Hi Ken,

Yes when you are posting a follow up the posting operation triggers email notifications with all the typos etc. so even though you can edit your message right after posting, you cannot change all the emails.

That makes it tough particularly if our resident spell checker EW is on the distribution list! Smile

I'll look into it, I assume you would just expect a preview pop up with a close button.

Thanks!

Dennis

A pop-up would be fine. It seems about half the time I post and reread the message it needs to be fixed or have something added so a preview would be really nice. But I can live without if it's a lot of work.

EW I sincerely thank you for those corrections! I surprise myself with some of the wacky things I type. Besides a preview button I think we might need a certification button indicating that "I authored, read and approve of the message I just posted !" Laughing out loud
