 Transfer to new Server

I plan on moving the TP site today to our new Server. The new server is a Quad Core, and has lots of memory and disk.

Might be some disruptions today as I swing things over to it, so you might see some outages etc. today.

I will be moving it over before I iron out some issues on the Photo upload feature, which I expect to resolve in a couple of days.

If you notice anything that is not working correctly please let me know!

Thanks!

Dennis

The new server is now up!

If you see a snowman next to the TractorPoint Logo you are on the new site.

A new, faster server is always good and all the work you put into TP is greatly appreciated. Smile Are there plans in the works to increase the bandwidth to the server so the concurrent connection limit can be increased? Or is that a resource limitation on the old server? .....

Yes there were restrictions on the old server, the work effort was to build a dedicated server so that there are none. Quite a bit of work building it from scratch though!

Dennis, is there anyway we can get the spam and trolls out of the classifieds? I mean really, if i could actually buy a 2010 Razor or 2004 4710 loaded for $3400 i would be driving there now. How about the 2008 John Deere 2305 TLB 4WD for $2700 ..... why has that not sold already? Because it does not exist. We KNOW this, but need to do something about it. Can a mass email party be organized by us to bombard this scum [ALL members send one email each (or more)asking bogus questions] at a predetermined time and date?

Dennis, just wondering with the change and thank you for that are there other changes to TP site coming? No idea what it is worth in reality but sort of like the way some sites show who are on line at that time. Then some just give a number. I for one would still like to seem more topics remain in the active section but if I got use to using the site from the other viewing method they are there.
