  Under mounted sinks

My undermount sink is held up by 1x2 pine boards screwed into the walls of the cabinet on all four sides; make sure the sink is supported on all four sides, sometimes that means having to move the faucet to the side of the sink instead of having it installed on center. My installer told me a story where a woman insisted on installing her faucet right on center which prevented the installer from attaching any support for the sink on that side of it; when the woman proceeded to put a 40lb turkey into the sink, the whole thing collapsed.

The heaviest turkey ever was 86lb, so I'm sticking with my 40lb turkey story (then again, maybe my contractor exhagerated a little to make a point).
