Tankless Water Heaters

Yup, they work VERY well, I have one at my cottage and one in home in The Bahamas, they are both propane fired with electronic ignition (no pilot light).

They will heat water as fast as it flows through for as long as you have propane left to burn.

Tankless Water Heaters

They are both Bosch units. I have never had a moment of problems from either one, I also used to have a very small one in my boat.

Unless the existing water heater is less than 10 years old I would advise ANYONE to serious consider replacing their standard water heater with a tankless model, the energy savings are considerable.

In my house in the Bahamas it is also the only source of heat. It feeds an air handler that has a small coil in it and provides heat for those few times it's needed.

Tankless Water Heaters

The theory is the same regardless of what energy source you use.

I would advise you to keep all the options open though, look at gas, proane or oil models also, especially if you already have one (or more) of these fuels in use there.
