Count me in as another satisfied user who just renewed my subscription! I hope it helps.

This is an outstanding forum. I get my money's worth every time I Log-in. Maybe putting something on the front end will help people understand your (our) need for assistance. I only ran across the note as I was browsing other forum threads.

Forgive me but I do have to ask: Is the mere existance of Tractor Point in jeopardy? I read and see what changes have had to be made, but if we all were to renew our subscriptions, what guarantee do we have that TP will even continue?

Please don't get me wrong, I love this site and would be upset to see it go away, but we all need to be realistic as to the risk/reward of doing what we can to restore or even continue this fine site.

Dennis, what can you share with us as to the long term viability of TP? You've had a great product here and I hope that it will continue, but with the recent changes, if not restored, do detract from its overall value and useability.

I would certainly entertain increased fees as this site is a very helpful site and is a bargain at its current price.

Thanks.

Bvance,

I am dedicated to keeping this site up today as much as I was when I started it in 1998.

I have just restored the "Jump forum " menus in a low resource consumption format. I am working on more efficent "New and Hot topics" drop downs. All of this just takes time and money.

Thousands and thousands of tractor owners and buyers have benefited from the use of this site.

If you have gotten value out of TP we hope that you would see the value in subscrbing.

Thanks to all members that have extended or upgraded their memberships in support of TP.

Dennis

Dennis,
I for one am very pleased with the current format of topics. I find the current ones show at the top of the list and the list is much more complete than the way it was.

The one thing you mentioned that amazes me it took me about 7 years to find this site. Boy what I was missing.
Thank you for TP.

kt

Dennis,

Thanks for your reply and an update on what you are doing to continue this site.

Please understand.....I do enjoy this site and the many benefits it offers, and I want it to continue. I felt my comments and questions were unfortunately necessary with all of the deception and dishonesty we see all around us these days. Your honesty, commitment and diligence in providing a quality product are refreshing and reassuring.

I wish you and this site the best and I will reiterate once again....I would be very willing to pay considerably more than I am paying for membership to this great site. It is well worth more than you are currently charging.

I must say though I do like the new and hot topic drop downs if you can find a way and the time to restore those helpful tools.

I will extend my membership right now as a result of your response.

Thanks,
Brian

I am working on a more efficient (low resource consumption) verision of the New as posted and hot topic drop downs now. Hopefully my test will succeed and they will be up soon.

Ok, the "New and Hot" topics dropdowns are back in a new more efficient code style. Let me know if you find any bugs. Thanks.

Dennis
